The Toronto Maple Leafs have acquired left winger Nicolas Deschamps from Anaheim for left winger Luca Caputi. Deschamps was selected by Anaheim 35th overall in the 2008 Entry Draft. He has appeared in 31 games with the Syracuse Crunch (AHL) this season scoring 5 goals and 2 assists. He has been assigned to the Toronto Marlies (AHL).

The Toronto Maple Leafs have also recalled Korbinian Holzer and assigned Philippe Dupuis to the Toronto Marlies.
